WILDCARD CYCLOCROSS BIKE MATTE FOREST

Unpredictable -  Wildcard

WOHO Bike team are from various cyclist; like MTB, roadie and touring bike enthusiast. We decided to build an unique bicycle that breaks rules, unlock the routes we ride. With Wildcard, we are able to ride them fast on pavement to work, or grinding gravels in the weekend. And it’s our best pal when we go for bikepacking on vacations. That’s the root of Wildcard -the completely versatile fun bike.

WOHO based in the world’s best cycling manufacture country - Taiwan. WOHO is continuously challenging the traditional design of cycling gear. With the help of a local manufacturing facility - known for their precision - we’re able to turn our thoughtfully designed prototype into a well-built, real-life product.

The Wildcard seeks for balance between riding efficiency, durability and flexibility. We developed our own original design with experienced supplier chain, not following tedious factory designs. We also inherited numbers of steel frame durability design, from 80s mountain bike to modern gravel grinder, then we adjust the geometry made them suitable for long time rides.

The initial Wildcard prototype was built in 2016. We still eager to see what it capable of? Hence we fund a rangers project - offering Wildcard to the riders who planning to go long range touring in the mix terrains. As we could adjust our frame design detail through the feedback from rangers project.

The Wildcard complete bike debuts on Taipei Cycling Show March. 2017, and received lots of positive feedbacks. Now, WOHO BIKE is ready to the production the Wildcard!

Wish-bone seat stay

The wishbone seat stay means flexibility, not only enables wheel swaps between 700c and 650b but also comfort rides. We also added the eyelets for rear rack and fender requires for touring.

Radius comparing

700c x 40-   350mm radius

650b x 47-  341mm radius

They’ll deliver totally different riding experiences. 700c x 40 wheel allows you to ride faster and efficient while traveling, but narrower wheel means less stable on loose gravel. When bike package laden, mostly recommend to ride gravel with 700c in middle distance (>100km). 650b x 47 plus tires are more agile than 700c, its wild and fat enough to gain more comfort in gravel riding, but has lower speed than 700c wheels. You’re allowed to swap these two type of tire and wheel on Wildcard frame for your different trip plans.
